College Republicans Commend Governor’s Leadership on HB1264
Concord, NH – Today, Governor Sununu signed HB1264 into law. HB1264 requires that only residents over New Hampshire can vote in New Hampshire elections. Dan Passen, State Chairman of the New Hampshire Federation of College Republicans, released the following statement:
“Today, New Hampshire, under the strong leadership of Governor Sununu, stood up for voter integrity. As college students, we regularly see out-of-state students bussed to the polls to vote in our elections. This practice is unethical and unjust. We are proud of the Governor’s unwavering support of this bill. As College Republicans, we have tirelessly fought to see this bill signed and it is incredible to see that we have finally gotten it done. With the passage of this law, New Hampshire is one step closer to ensuring that our elections are an accurate representation to the values and needs of Granite Staters. We look forward to the continued strength and courage that our governor possesses.”
