Manchester, NH – Puerto Rico is still in a devastated condition. While the news cycle has largely moved on from the island, almost a third of the area is still without power and in need of help. Dan Passen, our Chairman, decided to take action by campaigning to raise money for Puerto Rico’s children and struggling communities. This weekend, his campaign efforts were able to put boots on the ground and bring relief to the area. Dan Passen released the following statement this morning regarding the campaigns success:

“We’ve been excited to see how the CRFPR has been able to spread relief and cheer in the midst of disaster by giving gifts to kids in foster homes and other communities in need. It is heartwarming to know that the NHFCR was able to give children a moment away from their struggles to instead enjoy unwrapping Christmas gifts and celebrating Three Kings Day. Working with Edgar Valesco, the Chairman of CRFPR, has been a moving experience and the NHFCR will continue to work on providing aid to Puerto Rico whenever possible. Thank you to everyone who donated to the campaign: we are extremely grateful for your support. There is still much to be done, and we encourage everyone to reach out to the CRFPR to find out how to get involved with relief efforts.””
